Dear Class:
"The more things change, the more they remain the same". We are finishing up the simulation and then entering it into the computer. Due to time constraints, I will be using the final printout from the computer for the 2/3 of your final and have the other 1/3 a multiple choice-T/F for the rest of the final which will be on Tuesday of next week. I know you are looking forward to it
Sincerely,
Mr. Green-Hite

Dear Class:
You should be done with the "Journal" (Chronological account p. 105 sample) and the balancing of that journal for each page. Also, the "General Ledger" (Each Seperate Account example on p. 213-215)and the "Worksheet" should be done (has adjustments p.160 a,b,c & 164 for an example) should have been half way done by now. The General Ledger should be completed in class today as well as the "Income Statement" (p. 184 & 185), the "Balance Sheet" (p. 189), the "Post-Closing Trail Balance Sheet" and the "Reconciliation Bank Statement" (p. 125).
This should be done in class today and handed in.

Dear Class:
Today we will continue with the "Journal" of Eddie Ortega. This particular part is a chronological statement of accounts. In other words, they are not seperated out by specific accounts as they are in the general ledger.
I will go over some of Lesson 8 because I had some questions regarding same. They are due today...period. I will hand out thge balance shee for each journal page and the worksheet form that has the "adjustments" part in it.
Sincerely,
Mr. Green-Hite

Dear Class:
We begin the last run at the semester. We will be starting the "Eddie Ortega" simulation that will start with the Journal being worked on and done with. This area of entry corresponds with Lessons 3 and 4 in the book from pages 57-108.
I want the "Study Guide 8" packet handed in today! You had the whole winter vacation to finish it.
I will show you a sample of the Ortega simulation that was done last year.
I hope all was well with you during the holiday and that you got plenty of sleep...as if.
Sincerely,
Mr. Green-Hite
